This episode sees improved ‘target awareness’ and predictive firing, so now these pesky NPC pilots are becoming a bit more of a challenge/threat.
The entire system is proving as flexible/tweakable/tunable as hoped so far. Making pilots do threat assessments (instead of just giving them access to all the games data in one go) makes them have to obtain information, analyse and prioritise it, and then make a judgement call on what to do based on their own status.
Just like real pilots have to do.
